HCB Benidorm has been accredited with the most prestigious international health quality certificate in the world, the Joint Commission International (JCI), being the first private hospital in the Valencian Community to achieve it.
This accreditation is the most demanding worldwide in the health sector and analyses that all hospital care is focused on Safety and Quality and on a process of continuous improvement.

HCB Benidorm has voluntarily undergone a rigorous performance review and has met a solid set of ratings in Patient Safety and Quality of Care. This recognition must be reaccredited every 3 years, which requires constant improvement in the provision of all services.
HCB Benidorm has 18 ISO 9001:2015 quality certificates from the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR) for complying with quality care and innovation standards.
HCB Benidorm joined the Quality Management System in the year 2000, presenting a Continuous Improvement Plan that has allowed it to obtain a total of 18 quality certifications in these fifteen years and maintain these certifications and renew them year after year, thus fulfilling its commitment to quality with patients and with the organization.
The certification entails compliance with the requirements established in the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015 STANDARD, as well as the set of technical specifications defined by the professionals involved in the provision of services, the management of the centre and it’s Quality Department. . One of the requirements goes through the annual review of certified services and a specific exam for its renewal for a period of three years.
Obtaining and maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 quality certificates are only part of the work of the HCB Benidorm Improvement Plan, which each year internally sets new objectives to provide better service to its patients with new creative and useful initiatives. , scientific research, collaborations with the best universities, technological innovation and constant renewal, ongoing training for all staff, as well as constant renovation of its facilities and the expansion of services that respond to the needs of the population.

Social Responsibility actions and the Comprehensive Management Plan developed by the Management of Hospital Clínica Benidorm in recent years have led to a further step: the need to have an Environmental Quality Policy.
Currently, organizations must comply with a greater number of environmental requirements imposed by the Administration, customers and society in general. For this reason, it is essential that HCB work on the development of tools that allow the centre’s global activity to be integrated with the Environment.
For this we have the certificate of the environmental quality standard ISO 14001: 2015.
The implementation of an Environmental Management System in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 standard offers us the possibility of systematizing, in a simple way, the environmental aspects that are generated in each of the activities that are carried out in our organization, promote environmental protection and pollution prevention from a point of view of balance with socioeconomic aspects.
