GASTRIC SLEEVE

Bagua, or single-anastomosis gastric bypass, is a bariatric surgical procedure that combines features of vertical gastrectomy and traditional gastric bypass.

It is a simpler and safer surgery, in which the size of the stomach is reduced and part of the intestine where fats are mainly absorbed is avoided, thus favoring an effective weight loss.

Thanks to its lower technical complexity, it is especially indicated for patients with high surgical risk or older patients who require an effective alternative with an optimized safety profile.
